This is the story Ace France. He was a ballroom champion for a decade in years gone by. He is was let down by his dance parner when they wer about ready to be the number one couple in the world. Ace walked away from the dancing world for another decade till he came to Hawaii and decided to do what he knew best and set up his own dance studio. Ace has taught some of the best dancers in Hawaii today. There are some incredible Dance Kings in Hawaii. Louie Malonie is the King of Swing. "Gorgeous " George Marcini is the King of Salsa. "Sweet" Sebastian is following in the footsteps of Ace. People still talk today,...they talk about him,....they talk about that night and the spectacular dancing,..they talk about the "Dance Lore". It all started in Hawaii,...It all started with the rhythm,..and the waves,....of Waikiki Beach. Dance Lore is a movie about the contrast in styles between formal ballroom dancing and the club style Salsa in Hawaii in the early 2000's. It showcases five dance kings and thier partners. Amoung the best dancer that had ever danced his way in a Ballroom is "Sweet" Sebastian. He is about ready to walk away from the dancesport but not before he puts on a performance of a lifetime.
